During the call, Hulk offered a vague apology but did not heed her advice. Brooke expressed her gratitude for being able to say “I love you” before his death and mentioned that she feels a sense of peace knowing she did everything possible to support him. Recently, Linda broke down in a tearful Instagram video, discussing her feelings of loneliness and the fractured relationships within the family. She disclosed that she has not spoken to Brooke in nearly eight years but maintains a close relationship with Hulk’s son, Nick. Linda accused Hulk of being a “complete liar” and a “sex addict,” criticizing the way he publicly moved on.
Brooke responded on Instagram, stating that her mother’s video only touched on the surface of their family issues. She accused both parents of inflicting pain and revealed that she endured years of verbal, mental, and at times physical abuse. Brooke pledged to “break the chain” and foster a healthier future.
After severing ties with her parents, Brooke concentrated on her healing and her own family, welcoming twins Oliver and Molly in January 2025. Although she still yearns for her parents, their actions caused more suffering than their absence.
